About

Hey there! My name is Marc and I am a Director of Technology / Web Developer living in Los Angeles, CA with an adorable wife, 2 cats, and a dog. I’ve been professionally involved in website development for the past +-7 years (yikes!).

My original programming/design experience started back when I was in 5th grade and my parents bought me an Apple IIc. I spent many hours tinkering away at that computer and progressing through an array of other computers that followed (Commodore 64, Atari 1040, DOS-based PCs, etc, etc.) All the way back then I started programming mostly so that I could create the ultimate bad-ass video games (but I never quite could achieve that with the now seemingly primitive flavors of BASIC that I was using).

Fast-forward several years to around 2000AD and I find myself learning HTML and then eventually the god-aweful ASP classic. I soon ditched that and started learning PHP and have been hooked ever since. Eventually over time I have realized exactly how much most Microsoft products suck and now am a firm believer in open-source technologies.
